My name is Shula, born in Zambia and very proud to be African 😀 So if you are a hater, this blog is definitely not for you :p I have spent the last 10 years working with orphans and vulnerable children in Mozambique, South Africa and Peru. The work is very challenging but I enjoy it a lot. I am passionate about travelling, meeting new people and adapting to new cultures. I have had the pleasure of traveling and living all over Southern Africa, Peru, the USA and the Middle East. Apart from that I really enjoy writing, crocheting , photography and music…sometimes I think my life can be one massive musical :). Above everything, Jesus is everything to me, I am pretty useless and a waste of living space without Him. I have many dreams and one of them is to live by some epic, jaw dropping, magnificent mountains. So far I have had the privilege of hiking the Rockies, Andes and Drakensberg mountains…maybe oneday I will find myself in Asia enjoying the Himalayan Mountains too. YAY to that!!
In case you are wondering, as of the beginning of May 2014, I moved from Mozambique to live on a First Nations Reserve called Pikangikum in Northern Ontario Canada.
